McCullough Family Plans Exciting Eco-Video Project

Daryl converted the McCullough family's sunny yellow Beetle in October '05.
Still going strong, this veg-oil powered car will be taking an adventurous and educational trek across the United States next spring. The goal is to spread the message of sustainability.

The 4 McCulloughs plan to visit renewable energy sites and interview people who have made impacts in sustainability. They hope to distribute video profiles to schools nationally and online, with a mission of inspiring and empowering kids to create a renewable and sustainable future. Their 9-year-old son Carrick, who starred in my favorite McCullough video, "An Inconvenient Youth," will be narrating. They've been fortunate to have won several awards with such projects, and they have now been seen by over 200,000 people; this cross-country video project is an effort to take the message of sustainability to a much wider audience.

Check out their website at www.OurRenewableNation.org where you can find a map and list of destinations, plus other project details. You can also subscribe to their weekly blog.
