Greenfield Grease Rally 7-7-7

Saturday, July 7th 2007 saw the lot at the Greenfield Energy Park full of diesel vehicles. Hoods raised to the sky, we were there to celebrate energy independence -- in particular, the use of vegetable oil as an alternative fuel source. Drivers from near and far congregated to peek at each other's auxiliary fuel systems, to share stories and experiences, and to ponder together the excitement and the possibilities of renewable-fuel technology.

Several attendees won door prizes from the Solar Store and the People's Pint. After lunch, we revved up and "rallied" to Evergreen Motors for free fill-ups (courtesy of SmarterFuel), and more time to talk shop.

It was great fun to have so many "greasers" together in one place.
We hope this will become an annual thing!
